Lexicon Custom Book Store with Laravel – Amazon Clone

Our customer Lexicon Bulgaria comes to us with the need of having a website + store to sell and manage their books. They also ask to develop a system where authors can upload and sell their books. Another need was to have a membership reading like the Amazon KPD system, users subscribe for membership and they can read all the books which are part of the library. On other hand, the authors receive payments calculated per every read page of their books

We developed a very complex system with Laravel for book management and selling, we lock the digital books from downloading from the readers. The accounting admin dashboard creates invoices automatically and sends them at the end of the month to the accountant. The admin dashboard also includes all sales, author’s earnings, statistics, and invoices, also the sales admin dashboard prints shipment slips so our customer knows who will deliver every sale of the store.

The membership system was developed by integrating Stripe and PayPal recurring payments. We count every page read by the end customer and save it for the end of the month calculating.

We develop also a reward system so customers can receive rewards points for every purchase they finish in the system, later they can use these points to purchase new books from the store.
